Return & Refund Policy

1) Overview

We want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work at Artivet.shop.

2) Return Window

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

3) Eligibility for a Return

To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition that you received it—unused/unworn, with tags, and in the original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

4) How to Start a Return (RMA Required)

Email contact@artivet.shop to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before sending anything back. Returns sent without prior approval will be refused.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package.

5) Damages & Issues (Defect Reporting Window)

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 7 calendar days of the carrier’s “Delivered” scan if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
When you contact us, include: (a) order number, (b) clear photos/video of the item, packaging, and shipping label, and (c) a brief description of the issue.

6) Who Pays Return Shipping

  • Verified manufacturer defect / our fulfillment error: We provide a prepaid return label (or, at our discretion, a replacement without return). You may choose a full refund (including original outbound shipping where required by law) or a free replacement.

  • Defect not substantiated after review (e.g., misuse, normal wear, screen-to-print color variance, issues outside manufacturing): the customer is responsible for return shipping. We can provide a label and deduct its cost from your refund, or you may use your own trackable service.

7) Inspection on Receipt & Outcomes

All returns are inspected upon arrival. If items are not in original condition, missing parts/accessories, or show signs of wear or tampering, we may issue a partial refund reflecting diminished value or decline the refund and return the item to you at your cost.

Outcome Matrix

  • Verified defect / wrong item / missing parts → Prepaid label + full refund or free replacement (your choice).

  • Not a defect (buyer’s remorse, size/color preference, normal wear, display-to-print variance) → Return at customer’s expense; partial or full refund after inspection.

  • No RMA / different item returned / signs of misuse or intentional damageRefund declined; item can be shipped back at your expense.

8) Deductions & Fees (Case-by-Case)

For returns not due to a verified manufacturer defect or our error, your refund may be reduced case-by-case to reflect:

  • Original outbound shipping,

  • Return label cost (if we issue one),

  • Restocking/handling, and

  • Any missing accessories/packaging or diminished value found during inspection.

Payment Processing Fee (10%)

For non-defect returns, exchanges, or cancellations after payment capture, we deduct a 10% non-refundable payment processing fee to cover third-party gateway fees and handling.
This fee does not apply when:

  • a manufacturer defect/our error is verified; or

  • applicable law requires a full refund (e.g., standard refunds under the EU 14-day cooling-off right for eligible non-personalized goods).

We will itemize any deductions on your refund notice.

9) Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Perishables (e.g., food, flowers, plants),

  • Custom or personalized products (special orders, made-to-order items) unless we verify a manufacturing defect,

  • Personal care goods (e.g., beauty products),

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases,

  • Sale items and gift cards.

10) Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have (following the RMA process). Once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the new item.

11) European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off

If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason without justification (for eligible non-personalized goods). Items must be returned unused, with tags, in original packaging, and with proof of purchase. Where required by law, we provide a standard refund without the 10% processing fee.

12) Refund Timing

We’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, we refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank/credit card provider may take additional time to post the refund.

13) Abuse Prevention & Verification

To protect all customers, we may use serial/lot verification, weight checks, and photo evidence. Items that do not match the order, show excessive wear, or exhibit signs of tampering may be ineligible for refund. Repeated or suspicious return patterns may lead to refusal of future returns as permitted by law.

14) Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
